Come On Out for Clout!

We invite everyone to come and join us for one, or more, of our monthly registered clout shoots. Looking to get your clout ranking? Or just curious to see what it is all about? Follow the link in our calander and register online at Archer's Diary and then join us at our range for a fun day out.

It's all about the beginners..

Light Archers beginners are taught under the National OzBow Program

The OzBow Program is designed as a Step by Step performance and reward based program for new members irrespective of age, gender or equipment they are shooting.

The program is intended to expose beginners to low level social competition and allow them to develop their skills before they join our club and enter main stream archery activities.

Is your child in primary school and interested in becoming an archer?

If so, did you know that Light Archers offer Sports Vouchers?

The Sports Voucher program is a Government of South Australia initiative administered by the Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing. The program provides an opportunity for primary school aged children from Reception to Year 7 to receive up to a $100 discount on sports membership fees.

The purpose is to increase the number of children playing organised sporting activities.

2023 Archery SA State Clout Championship

Light Archers are proud to be hosting the 2023 Archery SA State Clout Championships at our grounds on Hancock Road, Kapunda.

Some information for everyone coming up for the day:

There will be food available on the day - BBQ, soup and delicious cakes and slices, and drinks will be available from the bar. We're also holding a raffle with prizes shocasing some of the best produce the Barossa and it surrounds have to offer.

There is ample seating in the covered grandstands for anyone wanting to watch the event on the day. Of course, there are toilet facilities (including disability access).

If you are looking for accommodation, there is a wide range available in the area. Kapunda is only 15 minutes away from the Barossa, so why not come up early and make a weekend of it? If you're looking for something close to the grounds, the Kapunda Tourist Park has some cabins available (get in now to avoid dissappointment) and is located, literally, five minutes from the grounds.

If you have any further questions, feel free to contact us either by email or by phone (on 0456 599 261).

We look forward to an exciting event on the day.
